Your Learning Experience

Coursework in the Network Support Associate degree program will give you relevant skills in core areas. You will be able to:.

• Develop the knowledge and practical skills you need to successfully navigate complex networks and troubleshoot issues. This can include, but is not limited to, assigning routing protocols and table configurations, LAN/WAN infrastructure, maintaining file servers like VPN gateways, and administering and maintaining PC-based networks.
• Learn to administer and support network systems virtualized in Microsoft Windows Server and cloud computing technologies through class NET205: Windows Server Administration. Additionally, students will learn about CISCO and CompTIA A+ Hardware in several other courses.
• Gain skills in computer and network security. Students will learn the threats to a computing infrastructure, how to secure a network, and an understanding of encryption technologies among many other security related topics.
• Understand how to deploy a PC based network for whatever a business may need 鈥� like managing a server across many platforms, as well as troubleshooting skills for those users within the network.
• Complete a capstone project.
