麻豆社 announces induction into Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX), a national honor society for paralegal and legal studies, by the American Association for Paralegal Education. There are over 150 LEX chapters located throughout the U.S. Its purpose is to recognize persons who demonstrate superior academic performance. 鈥�This is a great opportunity for the students to show the world how hard they鈥檝e worked and be recognized for their academic achievements on a national level,” says Dean and Department Chair of Paralegal Studies Wendy Notz.
Each year, ANU will select students who meet high academic criteria and cite them for their accomplishments by inducting them into LEX. To be eligible, students must meet the following qualifications:
- Membership is limited to students in good standing at the institution who are enrolled in the Paralegal Programs.
- A student may not be eligible for induction into LEX unless the student, at the time of induction, has聽completed not less than two-thirds of the program requirements to complete such program as determined by the institution.
- The student to be inducted must demonstrate 鈥渟uperior academic performance鈥� which is evidenced聽by an聽辞惫别谤补濒濒听grade point average of at least 3.25, plus a grade point average聽in their paralegal classes聽of at least 3.50, to qualify for membership in LEX.
